Ricky Silver’s Blues Syndicate consists of Portuguese Ricardo Silva on harmonica and vocals, Ronny de Carlo on electric guitar, Giuseppe Bordasco on electric bass, and David Puime on drums. The band brings to life the raw, energetic, and soulful atmosphere of classic Chicago blues from the 1950s. After a trip to Argentina, where he recorded an EP with new versions of his favorite blues classics and original compositions, harmonica player and singer Ricardo Silva founded Ricky Silver’s Blues Syndicate. Together with talented musicians from the Dutch music scene, Ricky translated his studio experience into an energetic live setting. The repertoire ranges from classics by Little Walter, Muddy Waters, and William Clarke to original compositions. With an authentic and captivating style and sound, the band convincingly recreates the atmosphere of 1950s Chicago blues.
