Rogerio Souza (7-string guitar), born in Rio de Janeiro, based in Niteroi, is one of the foremost representatives of the carioca style of Brazilian guitar. A celebrated guitarist, composer, and arranger, he is internationally recognized as a leading figure in choro and samba. Matthias Haffner (percussion), based in Berlin, studied Latin Percussion at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam and specialized in Brazilian, Arabic, and Cuban percussion. A true pandeiro master, he has collaborated with artists such as Paulinho da Viola and Paulo Moura. Marijn van der Linden (cavaquinho) is the leading cavaquinho player in the Netherlands. He performs with groups such as Roda da Holanda and Lilian Vieira Grupo, teaches at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, and founded EPM Holanda, Europe’s first school dedicated to choro.
