With rhythmic, upbeat melodies driven by the accordion, zabumba (a type of drum), and triangle, forró creates an infectious energy. We will start with a crash course, where you can learn the basic steps of the dance and get ready to join the dancefloor when our special guest band starts playing! Forroffa en de Xotjes (pronounced “forro-fa and the shot-yes”) are a home grown Rotterdam forró band.
