The eight-piece formation brings an exciting mix of funk and hip-hop, characterized by deep pocket grooves that alternate with tight breaks and virtuoso solo work. Inspired by the ‘godfather of soul’ they give funk, their own interpretation and contemporary sound. MOTHERSFONK comes into its own at jazz festivals, pop festivals, world music festivals, in tiny clubs and giant stages.
